Big Aims brings Pixar‘s Jay Shuster to India. Chetan Sharma to speak in the ‘Cool Guru‘ multi city Seminar Series

BIG AIMS‘ (Animation Infotainment & Media School) Cool Guru Seminar Series will have Jay Shuster, Art director, Pixar Animation studios sharing the secrets of creating a career in Animation & VFX Film Making and showcasing his work on successful movies like CARS (2006), WALL.E (2008) and his upcoming movie CARS-2.

The ‘Cool Guru Series‘ seminars will be held in Delhi, Indore, Pune and Kolkata with the very first scheduled for May 14 in New Delhi, followed by Indore on May 15, Pune on May 18 and Kolkata on May 21, 2011.

Other industry stalwarts addressing the students at the event will be Chetan Sharma – award winning animation filmmaker, Co-founder & Director of Animagic; Vigraham Govardhan – National Award winning VFX Designer and Supervisor; Aijaz Rashid – Business Head Commercials, PIXION, Aravind Rajkumar – Independent VFX Supervisor, Ashish S K, CEO, Reliance Animation; Sathish Narayanan, Academic Director, BIG AIMS and Anand Gurnani – Co-Founder, C.E.O & Managing Editor, Animationxpress.com. The Kolkatha event will also enjoy the presence of Basudev Bannerjee, Principal Secretary Dept of IT, Govt. of WB and Tamal Dasgupta, MD, Webel.

Chetan Sharma will be sharing his personal journey from being an animation director to writer and then doing pre-production for ads and features. He will also be sharing kabhi khushi kabhi gham journey of Animagic studios from the making of ‘Raju & I‘ through MAAA-a-aa, Eklavya to ‘Tripura‘!
